Closing our Henry Mack shop and blog was bittersweet for me. I loved the connection that Kara and I had with lots of woman who loved our house dresses and came to our blog for inspiration and community. Closing the shop, was the right thing to do; we realized we didn’t love sale product and we needed to practice what we preached and commit our precious time to our family while our kids are so little. We just didn’t have the time we felt like a shop like that deserved.

What little time I have away from my mothering duties, I want to spend writing. I want to live my life deliberately. I want to spend time on the best stuff. I hope this blog and the accompanying Instagram (@maryjolleywrites and Facebook (maryjolleyauthor) accounts (which I post on much more frequently) will be a place where you can find treasures: things that are praiseworthy and valuable.
