"Dragon Blood occupies such a creative and enjoyable fantasy world. I loved the complementary but opposite character perspectives in Cal and Ferth. Incredible writing, creative world building, compelling character arcs, and unexpected plot twists." - Goodreads Review

WOLF PACK

"It is no small thing to lift arms against your friends."

Hunted by his father, Ferth seeks protection among his former enemies. Even with his familiar face, it's a struggle to hide his wolves and his Draco sympathies from the humans.

"This story left me feeling breathless. Beesley didn't hold back. This is a strong second book, as it builds on the first and opens up a lot of plotlines that are going to pack a punch in book three. There were a few things in this book that made me really emotional." - Goodreads Review

Human Hearts| book three in the draco sang trilogy

-ya fantasy

Human Hearts ebook 5

"You can control your dragon instead of becoming a slave to it.... They will learn to become what you teach them. Show them love."

A terrible battle rages between the humans and the Draco Sang, half human half beasts... And the fate of mankind lies in the hands of three.

"The characters arc was breathtaking and imagery was outstanding if I could compare this series to something I would compare it to narnia series by CS Lewis and the lord of the rings by JR Tolkien. It’s that good. It was moving and beautiful!" - Goodreads Review

Nature is powerfully healing. Getting outside is m Nature is powerfully healing. Getting outside is my go to cure all. Lately I’ve been favoring this writing set up. I’ve got my comfy chairs lined up against open French doors. This morning my view is dappled sun and intermittent rain. Fresh air and whispering palms are my muses. I deserve—its’s hard to state that I deserve this, but it’s true—I deserve to make my writing time as romantic and cozy and joyful as my situation allows. I think it’s worth bringing pleasure and beauty into our daily routines. I invite you take a deep breath and ask yourself how you can make one of your jobs more pleasant or lovely today. You deserve it.

Writing tip!! Give your characters items of person Writing tip!! Give your characters items of personal meaning that enhance their backstory.

This pearl necklace was my grandma Mary Beesley’s. She was a quirky, tough, lovely lady. She taught me lamb is delicious with mint jelly, even if I refuse to eat the fat chunks like she did. I think of her when I wear this necklace. And I also think it’s lucky when I wear it to football games.

These are the kind of details we can give our characters that make them more real and interesting.
