Mary is a Whitney Award Nominee and received a Crowned Heart of Excellence Review and a 5-star Readers Favorite Award. She won the first pages award at the Lone Star Conference and the second place prize at Rate Your Story.

Mary believes humans are born to create and promotes creativity in all its beautiful forms. She loves exploring our magnificent planet and finding all the best places to eat around the world. She's been a daydreamer since childhood, but after having profound difficulty learning to read, she couldn't be more surprised to have fallen in love with books. If she's not in her writing chair, you'll probably find her painting, hiking, or relaxing at her local Southern California beach with her husband and four children.
